About the Founder & CEO

Steve Birrell is the Founder and CEO of Bridger Business Solutions, the company behind AIM Software, and brings decades of experience leading and operating manufacturing and production-driven businesses.

Over the course of his career, Steve consistently encountered the same challenge: traditional accounting systems provided financial history, but little insight into operational flow, constraints, or real drivers of profitability. Critical decisions around pricing, scheduling, inventory, and capacity were often made using disconnected tools, spreadsheets, or intuition—because existing software wasn’t built for how manufacturing businesses actually operate.

AIM Software was created to solve that problem.

Steve founded AIM to align accounting, inventory, production, and operations into a single, connected system—built on throughput accounting principles and designed around real-world workflows. The platform reflects how work moves from quote to cash, enabling leaders to see constraints clearly, understand performance in real time, and make better decisions with confidence.

As CEO, Steve remains closely involved in product strategy and customer collaboration, ensuring AIM stays practical, intuitive, and focused on delivering clarity—not complexity—for growing manufacturing businesses.

The goal of AIM mirrors Steve’s philosophy:
Build systems that support better decisions, healthier operations, and sustainable growth.
